It adds 2 more modules to Divi page builder.

Sample code you have provided is good but it has to be more advanced as a simple filter like this can affect all implementation of Post List widget used on your site. We will try to enhance it using widget’s control so that you can customize it for that specific instance of that widget.

This one is actually a myth. Google Bots read only the final rendered content.
Any kind of shortcodes are replaced with generated output when a request is processed. So what Google Bots read is standard html content.

This option is not available at the moment.
yes you got it right.
Just don’t touch your pages and other settings before re-installing elementor. Nothing will be lost.
You can also try to download Elementor from wordpress repository here.
extract it and then upload it through ftp overriding your existing Elementor folder.This might be because of some files getting corrupt while updating the plugin.
As you can access files through filezilla, just the elementor plugin’s folder
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/elementorThen access the admin and re-install the plugin.
