Decided to try another calendar and it’s working in both Firefox and IE.
Just wanted to update my previous post. It seems to work fine in FireFox, but IE doesn’t show the details of the event.

In reply to: Organizing pages and urls in wordpressOkay I figured this one out. Has to do with how the permalinks are set.
i’m having basically the same problem. I installed the calendar plugin, configured my settings, added the shortcode to a page and even added an event. It shows up fine on the page, but when I click on the event to see the details, nothing happens. I’m using the Twenty 10 theme. Please advise.
Ah, I found what you were talking about. Didn’t realize that both the home right and the primary sidebar needed to be enabled for this theme. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Not sure what you mean for both widget areas. I went into the Appearance>Widgets. Selected the Primary Sidebar and added the widget to it and entered the settings. Should I have done something else as well? I see the same settings if I go to themes, of course the sleek child theme is selected and if I click on the widgets link, select the primary sidebar, the same widgets are there. Please explain.
Hi, thanks for your quick repsonse. Yes, the widget has a title, text which says sign up below, text for the button and the Feedburner ID filled in.
Still shows up on contact page, but not home page. The owner of the site has recent posts to show on the home page, rather than a static page. Would that make a difference?
As for layout issues, I figured it was a stylesheet issue, but wasn’t sure if it was sleek theme.css or the global style sheet for genesis. I’ll repost in the forum for the appropriate category.
The site is http://www.pharmacyaffiliates.net
It has two pages so far, the home and a contact page. The home page doesn’t show the form correctly. The contact page does, but the layout (2 column) has the sidebar at the bottom. I assumed when using the theme with a 2 column layout that it would look the same on every page.
Thanks,
webmiss

In reply to: Problems with Amazon Widgets short codeI posted this two weeks ago and no replies? What gives? Is anyone out there or is this post too trivial for someone to reply to? I ended up posting again recently hoping to get some more instructions. Doesn’t look like there is much support in these forums. Yes, I’m sure you can tell I’m very frustrated by this.

In reply to: Main navigation not showing up in admin sectionStill having the same problem. I actually deleted the old wp-admin directory and then uploaded th 2.7.1 wp-admin directory with all the files. The main navigation still does not show up. Now, I also created another directory for the admin section, uploaded all the files into it and then tried to login. I couldn’t get into the admin area that way. Is there a config file I need to updated with the new admin folder?
Thanks.
