conflicted with my theme? all fine but no detail display on frontend

    conflicted with my theme?
    Everything seems to be working fine
    but no detail display on frontend.

    When you click an added event on frontend (a page), it shows black background(modal) but NO detail display.

    I tried with another theme, it drops from the top of the page.

    Any help to solve this issue?

  • i’m having basically the same problem. I installed the calendar plugin, configured my settings, added the shortcode to a page and even added an event. It shows up fine on the page, but when I click on the event to see the details, nothing happens. I’m using the Twenty 10 theme. Please advise.

    Just wanted to update my previous post. It seems to work fine in FireFox, but IE doesn’t show the details of the event.

    I’m on a MAC and can view the calendar in Safari but not Chrome http://www.plattsburg-pschool.com.au/calendar.

    Edited to add, it now seems to be working but no idea how.

    I was seeing this problem as well on http://www.msxgroup.com. Essentially, it appears to be a conflict with the theme’s div.description style. I had to override this style in order to get it to work. I haven’t done complete testing yet to see what other damage this might have done, but for me to get it to work I had to use:

    div.description { position: relative;width:512px;height:100%;background:transparent;}

    Your mileage may vary, of course, but I hope this helps point you in the right direction.

    Decided to try another calendar and it’s working in both Firefox and IE.
