I also am having a problem with Contact Form 7 after WP Software update to 4.7.
I also have reCAPTCHA activated for the forms. Now my site’s contact forms won’t allow any information to be entered and are not working at all. Is there another more compatible CAPTCHA plugin that anyone can suggest? I’ve just learned of another WP update to 4.7.1 my host will be implementing tomorrow. Thanks for any help!

I will contact my host. I did hear from another party that a crawler found one
site error: XMLRPC.PHP which may also be associated with this issue after reading about increasing memory. Does this error message mean anything to you? No one else seems to know.
