the strange thing is that the update of WordPress goes via http and for these themes via https.
I’m not going to switch hosts, because I read elsewhere that some others hosts have the same problem and I’m really sattisfied with my host.
Is seems to be a WordPress problem, hopefully there’s a solution in the next update.(and I would have to switch a lot of clients of mine to another host….)

thank you for the update.
Indeed via FTP no problems… but I make WordPress websites for a living so this way of updating time consuming…My host did look into this and it seems that an *.wordpress.org certificate is not valid for wordpress.org.

Ik regestered two domain names:
http://www.nieuwewebsite.eu and
http://www.ikwileenwebsite.eu.Both are hosted on the same server with smae (shared) Ip adresses.
But what do you mean with ‘did I create a second web account’?
I did a WordPress multisite installation on http://www.nieuwewebsite.eu and I directed http://www.ikwileenwebsite.eu with a CNAME record to http://www.nieuwewebsite.eu.

I checked my .htaccess and the code in my networksettings is right there.
(just between # BEGIN WordPress and # END WordPress, is that okay?)I ran a test to check if the mod-rewrite is enabled like this: http://www.webasyst.net/support/help/general-modrewrite-test.html, and that also worked….
any other ideas?
