I think you might find the Register link goes to the page called Register
on this page I have the [pmpro_levels] code ( this shows the PMPro levels you have setup.then on the theme my login plugin I have set the Redirection to the
http://yoursite.com/membership-levels/
(accept for Admin as I dont want myself going to the other page.
I just used site.comsee if you have these set and let me know if it helps
ok are you using any other ‘log in’ plugin like Theme My Login or the straight PMPro system.
The “Renew” button is shown on the Membership Levels page for non-recurring membership levels which have an expiration date.
If yours is a “recurring” membership then there will be no renew buttonSince you have imported members, the code to display the renew button uses the member’s end date, so ensure that each member you have imported has an end date.
oh and if you want to add more fields, consider checking this add on out
Register Helper: Add Checkout and Profile Fields
http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/free-add-ons/pmpro-register-helper-add-checkout-and-profile-fields/What other fields would you like…
It should be asking for Username, Password and email address.
I had a quick look at citilights theme page and they say there is a Agent & Membership plugin attached to the theme..
So without looking too much into it I would say if you disabled that plugin then you could add PMPro in there instead..
You would have to look to see how it was integrated but I would say it could..
give it a try or go to the theme area and go to Comments and ask if you can in fact disable it and ask what effect it would have on the theme.. I would have a guess and say nothing…
Hope this helps
Have you asked the theme authors of citilights if you can turn off the membership parts or have you looked to see if there are individual plugins for each.
Some themes will have the different parts coded into the theme, and some will have plugins that do the job.
Generally with a lot of themes you can ‘turn off’ or deactivate that part of the theme and then you just use the PMPro plugin to create memberships with.
Is the theme called CitiLights? The current version of Paid Memberships Pro only allows users to have one membership level at a time.
Listed here are some suggest work arounds..
http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/2015/02/multiple-membership-levels-per-user-pmpro-workarounds/there is also another way but you will need to signup to PMPro to see the post about it
hope this helps you
OK great sorry for the extra bits on info..
you did say “but still want to do something on shop page . “
so let us know what. This info could be good for any other members who might have the same problem.
Ok.
i am not sure how the language translations are sorted.
Maybe the months are in fact in english. Will see what I can find out or might have to wait for Jason to pop in
First thing to check is that in the Admin area go to Settings and then General. check that the dates and site language are all set correctly.
PMPro does support French (France): fr_FR
Also try changing your permalinks and then saving then back to what you have initially.. and saving again
So let us know if your settings are all correct first
thanksI know that the team at PMPro have NOT used it in their system doesn’t have integration now.
Guess as it is not a common one then it hasnt been thought about.
If we do hear of anyone using it then hopefully someone will get back to you.So just to clarify?
you have 2 paid memberships to choose from..When they signup, does the payment go thru and the member then gets access?
Also ensure the link you are using goes to YourSite.com/membership-levels
and not to YourSite.com/registerI had a similar problem and found members where signing up via a /register option which gave them a level of None
Concept sounds good..
Not sure on the concept of allowing users to checkout for their current level multiple times and why how it works as havent used it.But yes to be able to hide the Renew button ( even as a tick option) to stop what have happened above.
If a tick option is used then I guess you would need code to over ride each members Renew button to ‘turn it back’ (the day before or at time of email being sent to say Renewal is required) on until they renew. Then hide it again til the renewed subscription is due to expire again..
For all any level of Free or Paid memberships as well..I guess if they are a paid member and want to renew ( before time), then the owner of the site will get paid early. To his advantage. And is a day giving members long enough or do they need more time..
mmm needs more thinking I guess
