    Hi,

I have not heard back from you but when I check your link it looks like the issue you were facing is resolved. Your product table seems to have a very good responsive view now with horizontal overflow.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

    Hi,

Thank you for your query about WooCommerce Product Table.

By default the plugin tries to compress the columns as much as possible, but you want the table to force horizontal overflow. This can be achieved.

The plugin provides options to create several different responsive modes based on different layout requirements that are covered in this doc: https://wcproducttable.com/documentation/phone-responsive-mode-setup

The ideal option for you, considering your specific product table would be the ‘Freeze Column’ option that is explained in the above doc. With this option you can Freeze the left most column while the other columns go into horizontal scroll mode. So the product code columns always stays in view while the customer can scroll the table and see all its other properties without getting disoriented even on mobile.

But that option is only available in the PRO version of the plugin and since I don’t know if you are using PRO or Lite I will provide an option for Lite as well.

For Lite, I will suggest you use one of these two options:
    – Go to the table’s settings > style > laptop settings > cells > set a min-width for the columns like 100px. Now the columns will not be allowed to reduce their width below this limit. Accordingly horizontal scroll mode will be triggered on phones.
    – But maybe in responsive mode you find that the columns are getting too wide and you want a more compact view of the columns. For this go to the table’s settings > columns > phones columns > create the same columns here (duplicate the laptop columns and just drag them down here to Phone Columns section). Then in the same Phone Columns section, go to each column’s settings > open the ‘Design’ tab next to cell template > give it a specific ‘Width’. Maybe some columns you want to keep as 100px, others 80px or 120px etc as per your requirement. Now the plugin will force each of the Phone columns to have the specific width you have assigned to it.

I hope this information helps! Please let me know if you have further questions.

    Regards,
    Kartik

    Hi,

Thank you for writing in with your question about WooCommerce Product Table.

    1. Firstly, I would like to assure you that the free version of this plugin definitely works on mobile as well. All the other users of the free version have their table showing up on phones. It has been well tested in this regard. No such error has been reported about this before.

But if you face any kind of difficulty with showing the table on mobile I will be happy to help. It could be a conflict with another plugin or a settings issue. In such a case please write in to the plugin support and I will be happy to look into it further for you.

    2. Regarding your second concern, this matter has been resolved. Please see the other support topic just before your question by adamadam2 over here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-after-upgrade-to-2-4-0/

The issue was limited to the Lite version of the plugin.

When the latest update was released a bug was pointed out with the Text and HTML element. That was immediately fixed. You can delete your copy of the plugin and reinstall from the wordpress repository (same way you installed it before) and the issue will be gone. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Please let me know if you have further questions on this.

    Regards,
    Kartik

    Hi Adam,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

I see where the error is coming from. It is a bug relating to the ‘Text’ element that didn’t come up in testing. But I have fixed it now.

Please delete your copy of the plugin and re-install it from the WordPress repository / plugin page.

Then you will no longer face this error.

    My apologies for the inconvenience.

Please let me know if you have any other feedback.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

The WP media JS files are required to render the audio / video player inside the table.

If you are not using these then you can safely dequeue the mediaelement js.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

WooCommerce Product Table PRO (premium version) has a facility for this.

When you are using the PRO version in your shortcode you need to add: orderby=”skus” and the products will be ordered accordingly.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

Firstly my apologies for the delay. For quicker response please use the plugin support form on its website.

As per this forum’s policy PRO version related topics aren’t supposed to be discussed here, so please feel free to reach out via the above form for your queries and we can correspond over mail.

Specifically regarding your query – there seems to be a slight confusion here that I would like to clear up. The X button that you want in your table is added through the ‘Remove’ element. It is not a fixed part of the add to cart button itself. It is a separate element. This is to give users the flexibility of adding it in any part of the table such as a separate column.

I hope this information helps but please feel free to write in if you have any further questions about this.

    Regards,
    Kartik
