I use WordPress for my main website where I sell my software from. I just want a way to deliver my software where members can have a members area to download my software. Currently wordpress doesn’t have a customizable members area.

this plugin sucks. it has no support and tons of stuff doesn’t work. it locks up the screen with a blank page and other things. There really needs to be a better plugin for this type of stuff.

I know that sites are using the nofollow for spamming reasons and if you look at WikiPedia, they are using it now. That will render their PageRank a big fat ZERO. So, will they still show up in the top of the results? Since Google loves Wiki, it might. Time will tell.

Even if i use the built in plugin for wordpress, i still can’t figure out how to have my photo show up in the posts. It shows up in the comments but not the posts. Is there a way to have it show up in the posts?

I’ve done away with the Gravatar plugin because there are some bugs in it. So, hence why i’m using the built in one now.

OK, i found it and installed it and my Gravatar is showing up in my posts and also my pages. Don’t want it showing up in my pages. I checked the box to exclude from pages but it’s still showing up in the pages. Is there a way to remove it from the pages?

OK, that site makes no sense whatsoever. Sure it allows you to upload an image but there are NO notes or instructions on how to make it appear on the site

Not sure how Google can do that via wikipedia because if the nofollow is there, how can the googlebot find it?

As for freshness, are you talking about keeping your site fresh with new content on the main page like a blog site? Because there are top 10 sites on Google that are stagnant and have been for over a year.
