If your found wasted lots time to minify CSS & JS, you should try CloudFlate auto minify and auto anysc js (free too) to meet your target time line. Fast internationally page load (cannot auto minify both activated W3tc and cloudfare).

Yes! Correct direction to remove version & the query string “?”.
All files have browser cache header. I think the only reason was the php script (php?ver…) to output the css files. Try to avoid it.
For 1st & 2nd, are you using auto minify?
Are you using child theme? If you Manual Minify CSS, need enable the @import handling at Performance > Minify > Minify CSS Setting section.
All external URL CSS & JS not encourage browser cache, cannot done anything via w3tc browser cache setting, because they keep on changing or improve the css & js files.

Today start to play around the few alternatives as below:
1. General way is to use “custom menu” widget (selective product category into custom menu) to work with WooSidebar.
2. Advanced way (I can’t fully understand) is to use “Custom Menu Wizard Widget” plugin to work with WooSidebar. BUT from the “Custom Menu Wizard Widget” plugin’s FAQs, we need to take risk to achieve our objectives.Hope is work for you.

If your 1st bytes 10% lower of your load time get Grade A;
Start Render time must fast completed before Load Time if not user will display nothing (blank) untill completed render resorces (start render time slower then load time).
If not mistaken for PageSpeed insight, your need fast displaying 50%+ above screen for user will gain PASS for above-the-fold. I think I will not PASSED if I use lazy load plugin for image to speed-up my page load.

FYI regard webpagetest, any page load speed, the first byte (amount in time the server spent building the page for user) and start render (first point in time that something was displayed to the screen) very important. webpagetest provided advance setting for 1st time viewer and repeat view; capture Video for yr site speed; number of tests to run (normally 3 runs); lots of test server locations; IE version, Chrome, Firefox, Safari browser test & etc…..
You can check cdn1, cdn2, cdn3, cdn4 parallel download sizes and number of HTTP request across different browser, fisrt bytes, start render. Standard recommendation was split resources equally to 4 cdn to gain parallel download benifits.

Dynamic website cannot fully benefit from full page cache unless to use fragment cache. Same like other WooCommerce baddies here. If have add new plugin and upgrage new version WooCommerce (change to new code), we have to come back here find solutions.
1. If your plugin serve cookie, you can TRY reject cache cookie at w3tc database setting;
2. If you have login and logout cached, you can TRY don’t cache pages for following user role for customers.
3. For the both options above, definitely need configure the browser HTML cache, especially expires header lifetime to zero (0) and cache control header to public cache must revalidation proxy must revalidation. This also related page cached issue.If I were you TRY Options 3 only > Options 2 only > Options 1 only > Options 3 & 2 only>2 & 1 only>3 & 1 only>3 & 2 & 1. Please remeber clear all cache and your browser cache for each TRY.

1. At W3 Total Cache’s extension;
2. At Hosting partners, like bluehost.com;
3. At CloudFlare site;Please note that CANNOT minify HTML, CSS & JS both at W3TC and CloudFlare sametime.
For 3rd option, you can minify CSS & JS with W3TC minify HTML which 1st option cannot at all. You can minify JS with W3TC minify CSS & HTML too.

My advise to use webpagetest tools and webpagetest forum to improve your site and search your solution there for time saving. They have great advisor there in forum.

I can’t uncheck “Apply Content Filter” for free version. I like your great useful plugins, fast responsive and dedicated developer, for continue use WPSSO I will use plugin filter to disable WPSSO in ONLY my Checkout Page.
Thanks! My next buying wishlist.
