Ok, thank you for your responses. I will talk with my developer and get back on the phone with PayPal (Fun!)
Pro Forms keep visitors on your site. Pro Forms also make other payment options available to your customers. With Pro Forms you will have full support for on-site credit card processing — and PayPal® Express Checkout too.
Why Should I Use “Pro Forms” Instead Of “Buttons”?
Increased conversion rates! Not all customers prefer to use PayPal®. With s2Member® Pro you’re keeping customers on your site throughout the entire checkout process.
Certainly sounds like the data is kept on s2member’s system and not sent somewhere else
Do you have experience in this? Can you tell me for a fact paypal has the information? Because I really think you’re just answering based on what you presume to be the truth and not actually speaking from experience.
I have done the research, I have talked with Stripe and with Paypal. Everything, and everyone points to s2member as having the info and them needing to get on the phone with Stripe to transfer it over.
Customers submit their information into s2member pro forms when they pay with a credit card. If they pay using a paypal account then there is no need to submit credit card information. But the information does indeed get processed by s2member which is integrated with paypal. It isn’t passed along to paypal.
Paypal will not store subscriber credit card information, it is a security risk for them.
That is not true, s2member is the one that has the subscriber’s credit card information.
