Hello, Thank you for your input.
I talked to our software programmer. It was a certificate issue. We renewed the certificate a few days ago, but hostgator didn’t follow, so we contacted them.

Dear Esmi,
As you’ve advise, I’ve contacted the host.
Turned out it was a plugin issue. When all plugins were deactivated, upload worked fine.
“Contact form 7” plugin was causing this bug. Now I disable it every time I need to upload media.
