In reply to: My WP 3.8.3 hates images!What do I rename the .htaccess file to? I checked my permalinks and it says I’m using the default. I ripped wp out of cpanel and reinstalled earlier today (3.5 to 4 hours ago and yes I got it all right); maybe that has something to do with this.
Their chat is down too. I wonder…gonna surf for a bit and see if anything comes up on that front.

Anyhow, I went and looked for the file, wp-content/object-cache.php like Andrew said to do and It’s not there (did a search in file manager). Should I create it?
I also put up my canvas theme and those images on my dashboard within that theme lead me to a 403 error. I did a, ‘inspect image’ and saw this:
Consider using ‘dppx’ units instead of ‘dpi’, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen. In media query expression: print, not all, (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.25), (min-resolution: 120dpi)

I just put a jpeg header up so you could take a look at that if you want. It only shows the freaky image I’m talking about. http://healthineveryway.com/I couldn’t find either the memcashe or the apc. I’ll go look again though.
Oh, and I’m sooo ashamed…I’ve never done a screenshot in my life *blush*. How do I do that for the dashboard pic??

Hey, on a side note, should I use a jpeg for my header, or will the ping help with mobile sites?
Will the png slow my site down?

I just started working on the site so that’s a no go…the only thing there is the title. The site images aren’t the initial problem though; it’s my dashboard that’s broken!I did all three steps you mentioned as soon as I encountered the problem (although the issue really has nothing to do with any of those issues).
From what I saw when I sniffed around yesterday I think it has something to do with a, ‘cashd’ file. I’ll be chatting with them later on today. Here’s where I got that info: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-access-dashboard-after-383-update
Look at the entry for user johnmcalester.Oh, I also tried a full reinstall in softculus….probably spelled wrong…just woke up :). Didn’t work, obviously.
