I have resolved this issue in WP Database Backup V.3.9.1
Resolved issue : The website is built under a directory i.e. http://www.xyz.com/demo
Please update plugin with latest version and let me know in case any issue.

I will try to reflect same issue on test server and try to find alter native solution for it.
Alternatively you can use WP All Backup plugin for create database backup. it work similarly WP Database backup (for create Database backup).

If database size is very large then this issue is occurred.
I will try to find alternative solution for large database or divide sql dump in to number of dump.
I will try on test server and let you know.

Due to Exclude Folders and Files rule there is pipe separator (|) end of your exclude rule exclude all files.
I have removed (|) from exclude rule (end of the rule ) and updated new version(V.1.1).Go to WP ALL Bacup > Setting > Exclude setting in the admin dashboard.
Please remove (|) from exclude rule(end of rule) your site and let me know in case any issue.
