1.You can create your own custom template for login,register and profile.
As of now design plugin template from back-end option not available in WP User plugin.
For that you need to customized in code.
If you are interested in customization then let us know. we will send you estimation and we will offer customization in very few cost. Also you can do customization your self.2.replacing default folder from plugin to theme does not any effect in speed or optimization. but in feature if you have change theme then you need to again changes in theme default folder. so it better to keep default folder in plugin it self.

Also please check debug.log file and let me know in case any error related to WP Database Backup plugin.

Yes,plug-in automatically backs up all tables unless directed to do otherwise in the settings.
Yes, If you don’t change any setting then WP Database Backup plugin backup all tables.
If you want to exclude table from database backup then
Go to Dashboard=>Tool=>WP-DB Backup > Setting > Exclude Table From Database Backup setting in the admin dashboard. If you would like to exclude certain tables from being backed up, such as table you added for testing purposes, but don’t need anymore, you can marked as checked them into the Exclude tables. The tables you selected here will be skipped over for each backup you make.

In 2.9 V added following features :
- View/Edit user information user front end dashboard
- View/Edit billing, shipping Address on user dashboard (WooCommerce)
