I’ve done as mentioned from the link provided and changed the front page displays to “Your latest posts”, and still did not display my main page correctly. I have the slider bar if you noticed on my site and a bunch of widgets and after making the changes as you mentioned above, they are no longer displayed.
If you have any other suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.Many thanks!

Thank you for your input. We have tried doing what you suggested and it deleted some features from our homepage. Luckily we knew how to restore it. Do you have any other suggestions?
