My WordPress version is 6.9.4 and my PHP version is 8.3.
This is my File Manager setting. It’s cut on the screenshot but my complete Public Root Path is /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/uploads/watch_folders/ and Public_Registers_User (non-admin) is one of the user roles that can access it.
Now this is what the administrator sees – it’s fine, the admin only sees the specific folder specified in the Public Root Path, which is only the watch_folders:
Now this is what the Public_Registers_User (non-admin) users see. As you can see, they see the whole folder tree starting from the /uploads folder. Before updating to 5.4.13, they have the same view as the administrator.
