Thanks, but I tried this with no success. I agree that the Mandingo theme is not very good.
I am having the same problem. I have moved the code all over the footer.php, I have checked settings, I have changed the code to get more information from the mail php file. Still says that there is no new email and nothing shows up on site. Wish I knew what more to try.
