Thanks for advise! You are right, I didn’t anticipate viewing it that wide open.
I fixed the image as you suggested. However now with window width less the image width left side is not completely back as it should by design, although may be I can fix that by overlaying left aligned transparent gradient image on top of the banner so it will always fade back on the left. Gonna take a bit more work though…
Site looks good, I like the simplicity of the design. I would, however, consider moving comment count under the date rather then above.
