You can make CSS changes using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/
If you need more functional changes then you can create a CHILD theme and make changes in it.
Hope this helps.
You will loose those changes if we push the theme update and you update the theme. So it’s better to quickly create a child theme and make all the changes in it.
