In reply to: [IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding Platform] Errors and clarification of "free"Yes, but make sure to choose the product that best suits what you’re trying to do.
If you need front-end submission, you’ll want IDE: http://ignitiondeck.com/id/ignitiondeck-enterprise-white-label-crowdfunding/

In reply to: [IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding Platform] Errors and clarification of "free"Going forward, it’s best if you use our forums for support: http://forums.ignitiondeck.com, as our support team doesn’t actively monitor the wp.org channel.
However, I can give you some quick answers:
1. Not if you want to take payments and/or use front-end submission. The free version requires that all orders be placed manually, and does not support any of our front-end submission capabilities.
2. Do you have both the IgnitionDeck and IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding installed and activated?
It’s best to post this on our support forums under the appropriate product category: http://forums.ignitiondeck.com
Sounds like a javascript error.

In reply to: [IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding Platform] Ignitiondeck with AvadaBest to manage this on the IDC forums then: http://ignitiondeck.com/id/forums/channel/ignitiondeck-commerce/

In reply to: [IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding Platform] Ignitiondeck with AvadaTry re-saving permalinks and see if that helps. Also keep in mind that you will only be able to use the widget to display totals, as commerce is not supported in the free version.

In reply to: [IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding Platform] Free version is not workingDid you post any support tickets? If so, did you give our support team time to answer them before giving up and posting this review?
We do mention that payments are only available in the paid version here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/ignitiondeck
This is the free version of IgnitionDeck and includes the following features:
Create an unlimited number of crowdfunding projects
Use the WordPress widgets to display the crowdfunding deck (full or mini) for the projects you wish to display
Use the IgnitionDeck->Orders->Add Order feature to add orders manually
Upgrade and you’ll have access to the complete set of project shortcodes and full commerce functionality.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding Platform] Free version is not workingIt seems you have an axe to grind, in which case you’re right…this isn’t the plugin for you.
This plugin works fine without a premium version, but if you want to use payment gateways, which are expensive to build and support, then yes, we require a paid license. Sorry.
The 404 error can be fixed by re-saving permalinks. This is a common issue that occurs when registering a new post type.
Payment options are restricted to the premium version, but you can still manually add payments.

In reply to: [IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding Platform] Free version is not workingWe try to be as descriptive as we can in regards to the functionality offered in the free version, which is why we have mentioned that it does not process payments and orders must be added manually.
sounds like your folder is not writeable, which results in a failed installation. Do you see an idcf_latest.zip in your wp-content/plugins folder?
Did you register for the launchpad account? If so, you should see IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding (1.4.1+). If not, can you try using the update button on the IgnitionDeck menu?
Cruzz, do you have IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding (IDCF) activated?

In reply to: [IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding Platform] Far from readyHey Craig,
I’m disappointed to read this review. I looked through your history on our support forums, and it seems you posted more than a handful of support requests, all of which were answered relatively quickly. In fact, considering the volume of requests, and their relative uniqueness, I was quite pleased with Andrew’s answers and response times.
Based on what I’ve read, it sounds like your use case is outside of the box of our normal feature set, which doesn’t mean it can’t be done, but does mean it requires patience and perhaps some customizations.
Every workflow and user experience built into our plugin/s is derived from years of feedback and live site testing. Though we’re happy to take feature requests and ideas for improvement, every change we make must benefit the bulk of users, so we’re very methodical in doing so.
You’ll find that on almost all major crowdfunding sites, registering to create projects is a multiple-step process, and for good reason. Platforms don’t want visitors recklessly creating projects that they have to administer, and spam can become a huge issue. In fact, it is an issue if you leave sites open like that, as there are many bots savvy enough to spam submission forms.
All in all, while I respect your feedback and criticisms, it’s discouraging to our team, who has been working very hard to support you, that you’ve taken to this forum to rate us in the way you have.
In the future, we’d prefer if you first reached out to our management to voice your concerns directly and give us a chance to listen.
Do you have IgnitionDeck (Crowdfunding) activated?

In reply to: [IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding Platform] Free version payment options?Correct. You can use the widget to display the crowdfunding totals and then add orders manually via the admin, which will increase the total raised, number of pledgers, etc.
