In reply to: Internet explorer not showing posted stuffNo, I cleared the blog cache several times and not correction at all. In my opinion, what corrected the issue was updating the most recent post, but from inside WordPress, not through Windows Live Writer.

Whenever I mentioned that “I cleared my blog cache” I meant that I clicked on the “Clear cache” button which is in the top bar, close to “+ New” button. Something I used to do the few times I enter my blog as Admin, and I enter few times because I always post using Windows Live Writer, something I didn’t mention before and that could explain that estrange problem .

I entered my blog as Admin > All entries > Find last posted article (the one on top of the list) > Edit it > Click on Update, and voilá! ALL the articles that didn’t appear before showed up immediately in ALL my devices and with ALL the three browsers.
But let’s see what happens tomorrow.

In reply to: Internet explorer not showing posted stuffThis seems to me something absurd. After the problem seems to be solved, I continued posting… but the new articles appear only in W7 Desktop.
The other devices, my Android smartphone included, show as the most recently and last posted article the one I posted after deactivating Google Analyticator, as explained in second paragraph of my previous comment here.
I cleared my blog cache, but is didn’t solve anything.
Is there any limitation for the quantity of post in a given day?

In reply to: Internet explorer not showing posted stuffI first deactivated the Google Analyticator, and the article last posted yesterday shows up, with Chrome, Firefox and IE, in all my 3 PCs (W7 desktop, W7 laptop, and Vista desktop) and even in my Android smartphone.
I then posted a new article with today’s date, but it only shows up in my W7 desktop and only with Chrome and Firefox.
I then deactivated all other plug-ins, with same results regarding last posted article but one more thing: deactivation of Auto-Excerpt was shown only in W7 desktop and only with Chrome and Firefox. It had no effect in any other device.
I activated all plug-ins but Googe Analyticator, refreshed my blog admin page, cleared my blog cache… and everything is working fine now. Bur i still don’t know why that problem happened and why it was solved.

In reply to: Internet explorer not showing posted stuffSorry, MacManX, I didn’t analyzed the case carefully, and I’ve realized now that it happens even in my Android smartphone. So it seems to me that the problem is in my WordPress blog, and it also seems to me that it happened when I updated the Google Analyticator plugin. And this has become an issue now because the daily amount of visits fell down.

In reply to: Internet explorer not showing posted stuffOne more detail. I’ve at home two desktops (one with Windows 7 and one with Vista) plus and one laptop with windows 7 too. The IE problem is the same in all three, so I think it comes from my blog and not from IE.
Just in case you want to check it, try to open http://www.padronel.net using Cdrome, Firefox and IE. Last article posted is “La familia pakistaní que guardaba un secreto sobre el cerebro humano”, on May 26.
On Chrome and Firefox, the blog calendar shows that something was posted on the May 26; on IE, last post is on May 25.

I’ve been using the WP-Super-Cache plugin AND the WP-PostView one for years and no problem at all. Someone, but not me, changed something somewhere and, for instance, even though I was able to change the word VISITS and put VISITAS instead, the word VISITAS doesn’t show up anywhere in the WP code but is still present at the top of all the posts.
Using the WP editor I found last night in SINGLE.PHP the line of code responsible for showing up VISITAS, and I deleted it. That change took effect in Firefox immediately, but now, 26 hours later, Chrome, Opera ans IE are still showing VISITAS.
WP updated automatically its program version to 4.1.1 some days ago, and they are maybe the “someone that changed something somewhere”.

I have been using this theme, that I love, for many years, and couple of years ago I read in this forum that Coraline is responsive. However, Google Adsense says it’s no mobile-compatible, but I can read my blog in different smartphones.
My problem now is with an update that Coraline announced months ago. I created a Coraline-child theme, applies the update and got problems that forced me to ask my hosting guys to reinstall the backup I created before starting that adventure.
Before trying it once more time I’d like to know what that Coraline update is about.

In reply to: [WP-PostViews] how to restore counterSince my blog is in Spanish, when I first installed the WP-PostViews plugin I changed the English word VISITS —that appears on top of all posts indicating how many visits that post has received— by the Spanish one VISITAS.
Due to HostGator complaints (my blog was blocked) I deactivated that plugin, but several days after I activated it back and it seems to work fine. Last week I played with some other responsive themes (mine is not) and when coming back to mine I noticed some abnormal thinks that ar affecting the WP-PostViews plugin results. For instance,
1) Recently posted articles appears in Firefox immediately after been posted but not in Chrome, Opera or IE. In those three used to appear next day or later.
2) I have a widget for the last published posts, and no matter what browser I use to visit my blog, whenever I open the first post that appears in that list, it disappears from the list, and the second one take the first place. That error used to last 1 or 2 days, but even afterwards, the first post shows up number of visits but the others don’t.
3) The recent posts number of visits is 0 (please, see HERE) even though it’s OK in the Admin > All published posts list.
I’d like to fix all these errors, but if the one related to the number of visits on top of the posts (not the one in Admin > All published posts list) cannot be fixed I’d like to delete it.
What should I do to achieve that?

I tried ths “EZPZ OCB” plugin but after 4.28 minutes working it arrived to step 5 and then stopped and no result at all.
I think I better continue using the weekly full site backup because, to begin with, I have no way to know whether the backup made using a plugin is or not a good one.
