In reply to: There are no folders for sub-sites under blogs.dirYes ! Now I understand that I am unable to find the folders of subsites as they has no content.
But I got this doubt as a plugin names ‘ Zingiri ‘ is showing an error when accessing .It shows differnet errors on my two Multisite installations differently.So I was tempted and thought that some thing is wrong with blogs.dir
I will ask that on plugins section .

The multisite installation is not newer to me.I had some other Multisite installations and there was no problem .Now the problem is with new installations .
I already created blogs.dir.The problem is that I could not find the Folders like subsites….1 , 2, 3 etc under blogs.dir

During the conversion of wordpress into Multisite.I placed the ..
define(‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, true); at wrong place.Now I have corrected that.But still the files are not available at blogs.dir .Any body have Idea?

In reply to: How the children networks behave if I use wp-multinetworkWhen you install wordpress .It just works as a Blog or single website.Conversion into Multi-site is an act to turn it into Multi-bloging platfarm .Which enables you to create more multiple blogs under single installation .
So we call the main domain.com as main blog/website and the blogs/websites created under this(sub1.domain.com,sub2.domain.com) installation are known as Children blogs/websites .If we use this(wp-multinetwork ) plugin ,it adds the functionality to create blogs/websites under the sub-sites too.
Like node1.sub1.domain.com and node2.sub1.domain.com etc.

You said that your Multisite is having 40+ plugins .Doesn’t it cause the slowness problem to your website?
Is there any solution ,if we use 40 to 60 Plugins for our Multi-site installation? Would you please suggest if there any way to solve the slowness problem if we use this much plugins ?

I want to use this customized plugin with new functions for multisite installation .I want some functions activated only for a particular sub-sites and not for some sub-blogs . So I will create 3 to 5 plugins with different functions differentiating with the need of usage . Does it slows down the speed of my main site installation or sub-sites?

Your suggestion for site-wide configuration of single functions.php plugin worked for me . I have a multi-site installation and if I need to configure a css file .I has to modify it per each theme .Could you tell me if I create a single css file and make it activated for site wide and also ability to switch to theme’s css file if necessary ?

In reply to: Is there any way to mention Terms and conditions on signup pageI would like to keep an hyper link to terms and conditions page or in a frame .If a user checks on the checkbox .He would proceed to finish the signup procees .Could any one suggest me a trick to do that?
I know where to do it .But check box to proceed if checks and stops if uncheck .I am not sure about it .
