I assume with a little bit of a play and creation of a global category for all postings, I’d be able to do that?

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

One issue (minor!) is in one browser, Chrome, it tried to open as a ‘popup’ and failed as those are blocked on my browser. I changed the setting and it now opens a new window. Any solution to that as many users will have popups blocked?

Will now explore and make a donation for what is an excellent plugin.

Thanks for the reply…. I don’t have a desktop version because I’m evaluating the template and its stuck in the ‘playground!’ Also, the Appearence Editor that I have on another test theme isn’t available on this but from what you say, it should be if I was to move theme to my server on purchase.

And, I have only been editing WordPress files for a few days… despite 10 years of adding content through a custom CSM system, this is my diving in at the deep end of web building 10 years after designing one in HTML.

Thanks and to be honest, I’m surprised anyone has answered! This dip into the world of WordPress is simply to evaluate how the CMS compares to a traditional software package where like print publishing (where my history is), designing an interface is more intutive. And then there’s Joolma of course and others. A right minefield and not a loot of time to evaluate them.

As for editing the template, perhaps because its on the ‘playground’ I can’t see any way of getting into the code to edit the templates but will take another look with fresh eyes later…

Further to that, I can see that posts will be divided into categories but what makes that so useful is that the template lists all the posts above that section on the archive page. Would be cool if the template could be edited so it only showed the categories …

Yes, thanks saw that option. Will continue to add posts and see how it works. Still so many other things that I know with a convential softwrae package would be easy to add.
