I currently use the WP Mail SMTP plugin (https://br.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/) to configure SMTP uploads and the template is created by the Gravity Forms plugin (http://www.gravityforms.com/).

The problem is that the user when sending a contact, his data (Name, Email, Subject and Message), goes to the body of the email. And the email address is the email address of the administrator of my site, that is, the contact is sent from the administrator’s email address to the administrator:

DE: admin@mysite.com
To: admin@mysite.com
SUBJECT: Contact #234

A user comes into contact with the site. See the data below:

Name: So-and-so
Email: user@email.com
Subject: I need contact
Message: I’m getting in touch because I need help.

It was above that the sender is admin@mysite.com, but the correct one should be user@email.com. So when I click Reply, the reply email field goes to admin@mysite.com, it should be user@email.com.

The Jetpack plugin, that does not happen, right? Is the contact email sender the user’s email address?

Another thing …. I will need to configure SMTP to use the Jetpack email form? In case I use the WP Mail SMTP plugin, is there a need to have this plugin when using Jetpack?

Hello everyone, you have position on my problem.

Redirects are not working right. I checked and found nothing wrong.

I redirected:
/play/educacao-idiomas/ingles-winner/

For: http://idiomas.proddigital.com.br/ingles/ingles-winner/

Marking option: Regular

But while accessing http://proddigital.com.br/play/educacao-idiomas/ingles-winner/ is redirected to an external URL http://site.ingleswinner.com/guia?utm_source=page&utm_medium=ebook&utm_campaign=ebook-expressoes -page

I’ve never done this redirect and I do not know where the Redirection plugin is looking for this external URL. I do not even have this URL on my site. Very strange it.

I was able to activate the jetpack connection with wordpress.com and the main domain cleared the statistics and in the Debug section shows me OK OK jetpack message working correctly.
But the subdomain continues to show the general data of both sites, just as it was before.

I sent the problem to Debug Jetpack support, just like you passed me.

Are backups locked up externally on the jetpack site?
I ask, why have I already used some plugins that store backups on my own site (wp-content / backup-xyz /), and that’s no use, backing up and waiting in the same location.

And I have the option to make these backups directly to a cloud archiving itself like, Google Drive, Dropbox, …?

Another thing … does site migration (https://jetpack.com/features/security/site-restore-and-migrations/) only clone the entire site, or can I just clone a category?

For example, let’s say in my main domain, I want to migrate all posts from Category1 (mysite.com/category1) to subdomain sub1.mysite.com. So I could just copy all posts from the category mysite.com/category1 and migrate to sub1.mysite.com?

I needed to know the following … when I need to update some theme, plugin, … will the maintenance page be activated for all my sites in the Multisite network?

In the case of the maintenance.php file, I believe that all the sites of a multisite network enter into a maintenance state, since the file goes to the root of the wp-content of the main domain. But is the plugin also like this, when activating the maintenance state, all the sites in my network are hidden?

Hello Cory,

Thanks for the plugin indication. I installed it to check how it works, but it seems to me that its function is almost the same as Duplicator, ie it clones the whole site. The only difference is that Duplicator clones the entire site to be migrated to another server, since NS Cloner clones the entire site to be migrated to another site on the same Multisite Network.

But what I need is not to clone the whole site at once. I need to clone each category of my site separately, since all posts in each category must be migrated to their respective subdomains.

WP itself has this function in Export and Import. In the Export function I can choose to export only Posts, and then choose from which Category I want to export the posts. An xml file is generated where I import into the respective subdomain.

The problem is that the xml file that this Export function is generating, there are no URLs of the featured images of the posts, so with this when importing the xml file, the posts are migrated correctly (content with links, images that the text has, Date of posting, number of views and ect), but it does NOT import the featured images (image that is at the top of the post).

I do not know why WP is not doing the export of the images in the xml file, because in the Import function, there is an option to select if I want media to be imported.

Anyway … that’s my problem. It seems that I can not find any plugin that clones all posts from only a single category.
