In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] mostly useless without pro versionI’m sorry, the free version of my plugin is not “mostly useless”.
Woocommerce built-in discounting requires the customer to present a coupon to get a discount, or to put a single product on sale.
Pricing Deals gives you the ability to create a store-wide sale. The customer does not need to present a coupon. A Pricing Deals discount can be shown directly in the Catalog, or be displayed when the customer adds to Cart.
Cart Discounts can be general, or applied when the Cart purchases have reached a minimum amount.
For example:
“Buy any 5 items, get 10% off the cart”
“Buy $50, get 10% off the cart”
“Buy any 5 items, get 10% off the those 5 items”You can also do pricing tiers:
“Buy any 2 items get 10% off the cart”
“Buy any 3 items get 15% off the cart”
“Buy any 5 items get 20% off the cart”As you can see, the free version does give you many discounting options.

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] it doesnt work right…Hi,
Suggest you check for a module conflict. To track down a module conflict, you can:
(1) Install and activate a maintenance mode plugin (if desired)
(2) deactivate ***all*** plugins except Woo, Pricing Deals (and maintenance mode plugin)
(3) ** switch to a clean default theme like 2014 **
(4) test. if good, add 1 module back in. Retest.
(5) rinse and repeat until conflict identified.Best,

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] Quantity DiscountHi,
Thanks for the query. Yes, the Pro version has this functionality:
http://www.varktech.com/documentation/pricing-deals/examples/#advanced
look for “Pricing Tiers – Buy 2-4, get 10% off, Buy 5-10 15% off”
Best,
VarkGreat!
Hi,
Thanks for your query.Make sure to tic the ‘not logged in’ box on the rule…
The plugin warns the customer on the cart and checkout pages.
If there’s a warning, the customer is prevented from continuing to the payment processor when the ‘pay’ button is clicked on.
Best,
VarkHi,
Two things:Suggest clearing the cache, then deactivating W3TC and retesting. That is the most likely culprit.
2nd tier of testing would be to do a general search for a conflicting plugin:

In reply to: [Minimum Purchase for WooCommerce] Duplicate Cart Error Message? Thanks for the info.
(1)
WP Memory Limit: 40 MB – We recommend setting memory to at least 64MB.– ** You need at least the woo-recommended 64mb*** .
– First, –contact your Host– and request the memory change in the php.ini (this should be FREE from your Host).
– Then you need to update your wordpress wp_config.php file:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
— *** BOTH *** of these actions must be done, in order for the memory change to be accomplished.(2) as you have the Pro version installed, as per Forum rules, please continue this conversation using my support channel at http://www.varktech.com/support/

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] it doesnt work right…Please go and compare the rule example mentioned above:
http://www.varktech.com/documentation/pricing-deals/examples/#cheapest
with the rule you’ve created. You need to change a large number of things:
Deal Action : Buy something, discount the item
Buy Group Amount Count : 2
Buy Group Amount Applies To : All Products
Get Group Amount Type : Discount Each UnitForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] it doesnt work right…Here’s the writeup on that:
As in intro, it’s important to think about Cheapest deals in the correct way…
If you want a deal where you buy 1, get a 2nd item but the discount is on the cheaper of the two,
the rule should be:
‘buy 2 get the cheapest at a discount’.—————————-
– Cheapest in the group –
—————————-http://www.varktech.com/documentation/pricing-deals/examples/#cheapest
Buy any 2 Laptops, get the less expensive 20% offCheapest in the group deals are very literal. In this example the counts the first
two items it finds, and discounts the cheaper of the two. If the rule repeats,
it goes on to the next two.– select
Deal Type : Discount Cheapest / Most Expensive
– hit the ‘publish’ / ‘update button
– ignore the error messages
– then when you get there,
Discount Applies To : Cheapest Product
will be availablefor a group, change the following:
Show Me : Advanced
Buy Group Amount Applies To : All Products
Buy Group Amount Type : Buy Unit Quantity
Buy Group Amount Count : XXX desired amount
filter details
and whatever discounting you desire.Cheapest in the group deals are very literal. In this example the counts the first
two items it finds, and discounts the cheaper of the two. If the rule repeats,
it goes on to the next two.Forum: Plugins
