Thanks for your query.

‘Cheapest’ rules are actually ‘cheapest in the group’, not ‘cheapest in the cart’.

‘Cheapest in the group’ deals are very literal. In your example the rule counts the first
3 items it finds, and discounts the cheapest. If the rule repeats,
it goes on to the next 3.

‘Cheapest in the cart’ rules are structured differently, and are available in the Pro plugin.

Create a general rule, then exclude the desired products:

“We need another deal that will, this time, apply to the 4 products we excluded previously.”
-create an unique pricing deal category
-put the 4 products into that category
-create a rule using that category.

Hmmm… Suggest you start by having only one rule to start with for testing. Set up the rule, test. Then add the Woo coupon activation (see http://www.varktech.com/documentation/pricing-deals/introrule/#discount.discountcoupon), test.

If things still don’t work, please contact me on my support channel http://www.varktech.com/support/ and supply the following:

(*) a precise summary of each rule in words, in this manner:
“Buy 3 of category X, get a discount on the all category x purchase(s)”

(*) a full, complete screenprint of each rule, top to bottom

(*) a full, complete screenprint of each relevant Woo Coupon

(*) your System Report:
– Go into wp-admin, select Woocommerce->System Status .
– Click button ‘Get System Report’ at top of page.
– Click button ‘Copy for Support’.
– Paste into a return email to me.

Hi,
You can do this in Pricing Deals Pro, and set whatever fixed price you like, as long as the fixed price is a discount off of the base price (you can’t increase the price over the base price).
