In reply to: Custom Query String – is_archive problemThere aren’t any other plugins installed atm.
Basically, all I did was rename the index.php to archive.php. Nothing changed.
Here is the beginning of the Loop:
<?php if (have_posts()) { while (have_posts()) { the_post(); ?><?php the_date('','<h2>','</h2>');?>
<div class="centreblock">
<h3 class="storytitle" id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>"><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h3>
<div class="meta"> by <span class="storyAuthor"><?php the_author() ?> </span> @ <?php the_time() ?>.<?php edit_post_link(); ?> Filed under <?php the_category(', ') ?>Thanks again.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_recent_posts() (previously declared in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\mike\my-hacks.php:17) in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\mike\my-hacks.php on line 45
and
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_recent_posts2() (previously declared in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\allen\my-hacks.php:17) in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\allen\my-hacks.php on line 45

In reply to: Two blogs – One database – How to extract data?The problem I believe is that both functions are declaring “$wpdb” globally. Is there a way around this?
When one call is removed the other works fine, only together does the second one called not work . . . any help would be most appreciated!

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Conversion from Custom Access db to WPGet yourself a tool like Navicat MySQL. It has a table import function. I used it to import my old Access entries. Just had to do a bit of manual work to get the comments to point to the correct posts.

In reply to: Two blogs – One database – How to extract data?It appears that it has something to do with the “wp-config.php” file that is being used by both installations. Is there something that needs to be edited?
Thanks.
