In reply to: Changed index.php fileI couldn’t change my theme because I couldn’t get into admin on my blog. I was able to edit the file through my web host, and change it back. Anyway that’s the last time I edit a file based on the advice of someone here.

In reply to: PermalinkI take that back; I put it in the post but instead of saying “permalink” it says “posted in (category)” with the “posted in” underlined like a link. I think it’s the permalink but of course no one would know that.

In reply to: PermalinkThat didn’t work… in most blogs the permalink is in the category|comment line at the bottom. My WordPress doesn’t put it there and I don’t see any way to add it.

In reply to: pictures in postsOK, I got the quick-tags to appear but now the pictures do not, even though the code looks right. Just the pictures with the little picture not found symbol and the alt text.

In reply to: pictures in postsThanks for the reply but that’s my point – there is no “code view” in my write post window. There are no quick-tag buttons such as appear above the posting window here in the forum.
