In reply to: [Contact Form 7] [Plugin: Contact Form 7] Contact Form not sending maili saw that you made a suggestion with “WP-Mail-SMTP”….do you think that will work with the godaddy (linux) servers??
also will the below work if you dont actually have an email account with the host?
“Some hosting environments require the “From” address to match the website domain. In Contact Form 7, in the “Mail” section, try changing “From: [your-name] <[your-email]>” to “From: info@mydomain.com”.
I change the “Form” in my site and it is working.
Thanks mikedev.”

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] [Plugin: Contact Form 7] Contact Form not sending maili built a site on wordpress, including contact form 7, (all parts of the site are new and fully compatible) on another server (apache). when completely tested and 100% functional i migrated it to the clients hosting with godaddy (originally for some reason windows…now fully on ssl linux)
now, when sending an email through contact form 7; yahoo works, outlook works….but gmail and hotmail dont!!….i have only tested those four systems but seeing as they all worked flawlessly on the server i built the site on it’s obviously something on the godaddy end. i have also got a third party with a gmail account unconnected to the site to attempt and it fails as well.
any suggestions please. it is the most popular contact form and is, as a result, the most likely to be kept up to date and survive. hence i want to use it rather than change it.the contact form is at: http://villamichaela.com/enquiries/
cheers
