I ended up finding a sorta-fix.
I found a screen recording of the site from before woocommerce was installed and I just went through the appearance customizer and retyped everything in again. I’m not really sure what had happened and why my page was wiped but I’ll be careful to take care of woocommerce first next time.

No the previous versions were only those that had been made in elementor – which was only one section of the home page.
That’s bad. Basically what happened when I clicked “set up woocommerce store” is that the homepage that I had built was completely erased. I’d like to get that homepage back.
The newer (erased) homepage is still there if I deactivate the plugin.
