just in case anyone is having the same issue – i just discovered that my extension
FB Audience Insights Plus was the one causing the issue. now i disabled it and my product data tabs are working again!

Hi! Thanks so much for the quick response.
Yes, it’s active, and i uploaded the images one by one and chose the variation individually.
Also, the other plugin (redux framework) is installed and active.
Really nothing of the plugin works… whenever i change any setting it really doesnt reflect anything on my front end.
Any light you could shed would be much appreciated.
