In reply to: Random 500 error codeCheers, as you can see im not the most knowledgeable with all of this.
I have basicaly contacted them and said exactly what you did. That if resource consumption is an issue with a fresh instalation of wordpress that i will change provider.I was always told fasthosts were good.
Anyway, thank you very much Mac, realy appreciate it.

In reply to: Random 500 error codePlease can someone help with this, i realy dont know what to do. I have spoke with my provider and i cant get the server errors. And when i explained the probblem i recived this:

If you continually receive the error message “Internal server error 500”, this may be because the scripts you are using are not closing database objects and connections. Such scripts may work well to begin with, but eventually they will consume too many resources and adversely affect the web server. Please try to check your scripts. Unfortunately, we do not provide support for scripting issues
The thing is, this is a fresh wordpress instalation on a new database, im not running any different scripts and have not installed any pluggins yet

i have put it back to wordpress/wp-content/themes
i then renamed every theme apart from default, still no luck. I then tryed it with only twentyten and still nothing.
realy havent a clue why this has happend as it was fine untill i restored my site

In reply to: WordPress – BlankI have tryed this, i even tryed to rename each theme apart from the deafault when renaming the themes folder didnt work.
So at present i am in my ftp
wordpress/wp-content/themes is now wordpress/wp-content/themes.hold
Still have the 500 error

I just followed this, i am presuming administration menus is wp-admin ?
■Create an empty plugins folder
■Via FTP or your host’s control panel, navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)
■Via FTP or your host’s control panel, rename the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”
■Via FTP or your host’s control panel, create new folder called “plugins”
■Login to your WordPress administration menus
■Via FTP or your host’s control panel, delete the empty “plugins” you previous created
■Via FTP or your host’s control panel, rename “plugins.hold” back to “pluginsForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WordPress – BlankRight, i renamed the Plugins folder, and created a blank one. Now insted of the blank screen when i try to get into wp-admin i get
500 – Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayedShould this happen ?

In reply to: WordPress – BlankI have, 3 times. I have also contacted my provider, whom have insisted that the issue is nothing on there side. And recomended seeking assistance on here.
It realy has me puzzled as i said it did work after the initial restore, now for some reason there is nothing there.
