I see global widgets are only available with the advanced or higher license so I can’t try it the feature and see if it does what I want. I don’t mind buying an advanced elementor license if doing so solves my problem but I’d like to make sure it global widgets will do what I’m after. So if I save my container hierarchy in which I’ve created my desired empty page layout as a global widget and I insert it into 10 other pages will I be able to add unique content into the most nested container on each page or will doing so in effect edit the global widget and sync whatever content I put into it across the other pages?
Is there any way to save and re-use a hierarchy of containers in Elementor?
Hello RicaV,
Thank you for your response. I saved the page as a template in Elementor and I saved the parent container as a template in Elementor and I tried using both. In both cases, after inserting the template, I’m unable to get into the container hierarchy to add my page content into that child most container where my body background is. I read about templates vs patterns in the WordPress documentation and it sounded like what I’m looking for might be what was called a synced pattern if I was using the built in WordPress page editor.
