Yes they are both active. Before the spam blocker was installed which messed up the email notifications the subscribers were under a tab called ‘users’. For them we used ‘Posts Notification by Email’. After the spam blocker was installed and we had issues with people not able to subscribe the new users went under ‘Email Subscriber’. For them we used the ‘Email Subscribers’ plugin. Now the issue with people not being able to subscribe has been resolved but none of the above email notification plugins work.

We currently have Akismet installed and it’s been deactivated. For emails we have ‘Email Subscribers’ and ‘Post notifications by email’. They are both active.
