had. And this text box has some kind of bug working the right
border has disappeared and the only way to get words to wrap is
to hit enter as if it were a carriage return. Thanks for your help

In reply to: InstallationUsing cut and past I made some progress. What I did was to cut and past the code for the sidebar from the blogsome site to this site. Now I will have to work on this to make it work. Any suggestions you have would be welcome. Also, how do I get the Pugin Subscribe me to show up and work?

In reply to: InstallationOk I now have a working FTP client. Core FTP lite. should work I would think. Yes that makes quite a bit of difference in what you can see as far as the structure and content.

In reply to: InstallationI do have an FTP client on the control panel. Will that do the job or do I need something like cute.ftp? Also an additional bit of info. If I switch themes and go to the default theme it shows the links I have established through the dashboard but it does not show the results of installing subscribe-me.
I’ll download an FTP client and see what that does for me.

In reply to: InstallationI opened the file Index.php using the file editor on the dashboard here is what it shows for that file:
<?php
/* Short and sweet */
define(‘WP_USE_THEMES’, true);
require(‘./wp-blog-header.php’);
?>If I were to copy Index.html from the unspun.blogsome.com to the Index.php above using the cut and paste function of IE what would that do? What I am saying is using the Manage/file on the blogsome blog copy the various files to each of the index, sidebar, comments, php files on the manage/files on the unspunblog.com???

In reply to: InstallationI agree with what you are saying. What code I am able to see using the file manager on the Cpanel comprises what you see on unspunblog.com. The problem for me is that what you see on unspunblog.com is not the same as what is on unspun.blogsome.com. What I am particularly referring to is what displays on the sidebar, specifically links, authors, and various other things. Also, after having downloaded Subscribe-me I would have thought the icons for the various agregators would show on the sidebar but they also did not show up there though they do show on the options button on the dashboard. So I and the other authors can subscribe to a particular service but if we ever get any readers on our blog they could not. Problems, Problems. And Thanks again!

In reply to: InstallationOk downloaded and reinstalled the Theme. I copied this from the Index.php:
——————————————————————————–
Write about yourself here
RSS’); ?>
RSS’); ?>
XHTML’); ?>
XFN
WPAnd that is about all that is there. Is there anyway to copy and paste from the unspun.blogsome.com files to make this work?
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: InstallationOk I will do that. I kind of figured something must be there but there is nothing I can see in that file when I look at it using the file manager on the CPanel. I’ll download again and reinstall. Be back in a few minutes.
