is the code you get from TLA javascript, or php?
You might want to look at execphp plugin. That will not filter the code and remove filtered tags…an even further stretch will be to use the mybloglog widget that you get from mybloglog to put your posse in your sidebar. It looks to me like that widget is not specific to MBL code, and will work with any javascript.
