i think it is my theme. it worked before, must be clashing with the wordpress upgrade? i use the koi theme http://www.knowmental.comi found a thread, must be related: I tested it and when I do try and insert a link into the post, it leaves the page therefore not saving the attempt.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] slide won't function in postthank you. it seems it the second copy of jquery. when i deactivated that plugin, the slideshow worked. is there a way to allow both to work? or do i have to choose one over the other? the plugin i deactivated is sexybookmarks by shareaholic.
