In reply to: Editing posts not allowedAdditional information
The theme I am using is a modifed version of ‘Classic’ so as to integrate it into an existing web site.
If I change the theme back to ‘Classic’ – unmodified or the default Kubrick theme, then the problem goes away.
Can anyone suggest what has inadvertantly gone missing or been changed to create the problem I have?
Regards

In reply to: Renaming ‘Pages’The function at the top of sidebar.php that I have is:
<?php wp_list_pages();?>
without the bit you have between the brackets.
I’ve added that and change Pages to Articles and have the result I wanted.
Many thanks for your help.
Kind Regards

In reply to: Renaming ‘Pages’I am using the classic theme as a base and have incorporated WordPress into an existing site.
At the top of the sidebar.php file there is a php function call wp_list_pages(), but I cannot trace this and therefor have been unable to make the change I wish.
Thank you for your responses.
Kind Regards

In reply to: Disappointing resppnseThanks for that but it was in fact the first place I looked.
What is in there is a php function call ‘wp_list_pages()’ which I expect will return a block of code which includes the heading, but I haven’t been able to track that down so far either.
