In reply to: WordPress 6.3.1 – Blok galeria@lukaszgodula – you are correct. This has gone in WordPress 6.3.1. I asked for support about this in the Fixing WordPress forum and received some helpful information: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-adjust-gap-in-core-gallery-block/
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Cannot adjust gap in core gallery blockThank you @gappiah.
So until the gap is reinstated, for anyone needing to adjust the gap between images, my advice is this: With CSS target the post or page ID and add your gap parameters as I did. Otherwise, you will change the gap in gallery blocks site-wide. If there is more than one gallery on a post/page, get the exact CSS per gallery – they should differ. When the gap is reinstated in the styles tab, I imagine you should be able to remove the CSS and use the styles tab instead.
There are a few YouTube videos out there telling you how to adjust the gap in this block but they relate to slightly older versions of WordPress.
No page builder is used. My setup is Astra Pro and Gutenberg only. I am not using Spectra. The URL affected is https://www.southcoastview.co.uk/news/minutes-silence-at-worthing-town-hall/
I’m wondering if the apostrophe in the focus key phrase Minute’s Silence at Worthing Town Hall is having an affect on the alt text.

Hi @alexius08 This has solved the problem. Many thanks for your help.
As I couldn’t resolve this issue on this forum, I had to remove Wordfence on 4 affected sites and have installed an alternative security plugin.
Thank you @nkalistair. I followed the steps outlined in the thread you mentioned but this has not resolved the issue.
I would be grateful to know if you have received the report, which I sent over a week ago. This is still not resolved.
Hi Peter,
I have just sent the diagnostics report as requested. Wordfence is again installed on the site referenced in the report and the error is showing again. Additionally a scan will not start, saying: The scan has failed to start. This is often because the site either cannot make outbound requests or is blocked from connecting to itself. Click here for steps you can try. (opens in new tab).
I looked at the link “steps you can try” and it’s rather technical so I don’t understand all the options.
Best regards,
AndrzejHi Peter. I upgraded PHP 7.4 to 8.1, which is the highest version shown in my cPanel. I reinstalled Wordfence and upon activation I immediately received the error shown below. Additionally, I received the critical error message when trying to login via /wp-admin/. So I renamed the plugin to wordfence_old and deleted it from the dashboard. I reverted back to PHP 7.4. I did notice that while I was on PHP 8.1, the login/logout process took considerably longer. I am now able to login normally via wp-admin. So the bottom line is that I can’t install Wordfence on 3 of my affected sites (not all sites with my host running Wordfence are affected), which I’m not happy about from a security point of view.
Grateful for your help.

Resolved. I am no longer getting this message.

In reply to: [Spectra Gutenberg Blocks – Website Builder for the Block Editor] My wishlistThanks.I now have one of my sites in development space and will do the testing there. If I have issues I will contact via support.
Thanks @sujaypawar. It turns out that Jetpack has a module called Plugin Management. UAG was set to auto-update and it has obviously been overriding my setting in the WP dashboard. I’ve disabled the auto-update setting in Jetpack. Naughty that Jetpack don’t warn users that the settings in this module override the ones in the WP dashboard.
Oaz, this document will tell how to roll back to a previous version.
https://wpspectra.com/docs/rollback-spectra-version/
Choose version 1.25.6 and you will be back to the orginal UAG plugin.
Then go to your plugin settings and make sure that this plugin is not set to autoupdate.
This did work for me but I hadn’t changed any of the new Spectra options, in an attempt to get it working.
For me, with multiple hobby/charity websites, UAG is perfect and I do not need the hassle of trying to get my head around the multiple options in Spectra that I would, like you, have to change in an attempt to get it working.
Many thanks for the information. If these files come back,I presume I can ask Wordfence to ignore them?
I asked Wordfence to delete the files, which it did. The website continues to display fine. I’m still curious to know if this was a false positive.
