In reply to: Do Not Redirect new user to Edit Profile PageYou’re a stud! Thanks! This is something that I’ve struggled to find a good solution to for over a year now. I’ve tried Theme My Login and Peter’s Login Redirect, but neither solved the issue for me (and I prefer not to use plugins if I don’t have to). But I could never get any of the code-based solutions to work either. But yours was as easy as copy/paste into my functions.php file. Thanks!!!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] AdRotate breaks add-to-cart with Product Variations enabledUnfortunately I don’t have the product posted yet (just preview mode – I have about a thousand RSS subscribers that will see the post if I post it). So a link won’t help.
I was thinking that if AdRotate wasn’t being used on the page it wouldn’t be called – but I think I remember something about all active plugins being parsed regardless.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] AdRotate breaks add-to-cart with Product Variations enabledI haven’t tried other ad plugins in a while. AdRotate works really well – except for this issue.
Do you know if there is a way to tell Woo to use a custom sidebar?

I can create multiple sidebars in my theme and just not use AdRotate in the WooCommerce sidebar

In reply to: [WooCommerce] AdRotate breaks add-to-cart with Product Variations enabledIt’s possible. AdRotate might be using an old version of JS. But I don’t have the option of not using the plugin, and I don’t quite know what it would take to update the JS library links. I’m afraid I’ll break something with AdRotate.
I’m hoping someone else has had the same issue and has figured out a solution.
Awesome plugin! Thank you!
However, my Login/Register links weren’t working on any page except my home page. I switched so that the register link points to the register page (rather than the modal window) and it (the register link) works on every page now.
However, the login link still doesn’t work anywhere but on my home page.
My site is ProjectsInMetal.com
Thanks in advance for your help!

In reply to: [Max Magazine] [Theme: Max Magazine] Remove Content SliderThanks for the heads up on cropping! However, I think you made a typo: its 630x300px (not 603) just in case anyone else needs to know the image size.
I’m wondering if I can get my featured image to automatically resize to this size…
created a folder called “user_uploads” via Cyberduck FTP and wasn’t able to assign 777 permissions.
Logged in via Godaddy admin and changed permissions to 777, but when I refreshed the permissions were reset.
So you’re plugin won’t work with Godaddy hosting? Have you had any other Godaddy users successfully use your plugin?

In reply to: Site's theme disappeared?? What happened?Yes, there is indeed another theme in the folder but it wasn’t showing up in the theme manager tab, or in the theme selection boxes on any of the pages (only “default” was showing up).
I’ve heard of people having problems with themes not showing up after installing them, but this was different since I hadn’t made any changes to the site at all (the theme and all the previous site edits were from March of this year). I had only been in the site a minute or two and navigated around before everything went haywire.
The good news is the site owner has two other contractors that are familiar with the site and they’ve apparently fixed it (it looks normal now). But I’m just trying to figure out if there is any possible way I could have messed up the site when I hadn’t even made any changes.
I got that “oh god what did I do” feeling in my stomach and I hadn’t even done anything yet! 😀
