I installed the beta version (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/redirection-5-2-beta/) and our problem is solved!

When i disable the redirect in redirection, the URL gives a 404.
So it seems to me like it does do the redirect.

When i remove the “Ignore Case” flag, it behaves fine.
