In reply to: [Ultimate Maintenance Mode] [Plugin: Ultimate Maintenance Mode] White ScreenSounds like there is a conflict with another plugin. If you want you can list eh plugins you have installed and I’ll see if I can recreate the issue.
Goto http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/ to log into WordPress
Obviously replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain. If this redirects you back to a different page then you have another plugin causing the issue. You’ll have to ftp in and delete the pluign causing the issue or the coming soon plugin.
Hi Yeromee,
This mean you are running an older version of WordPress. You need at least 3.3 to run the plugin
I checked with plugins@wordpress.org. Here’s my correspondence:
“I noticed that by default WPTouch embeds a link on the mobile theme that say Powered by WordPress & WPTouch. Is this OK according to the guidelines as long as you don’t post it on the main public theme?”
Here’s the response by Mika Epstein:
“Yes, that one’s okay.It has to do with it being a theme, which are allowed a link like that. It’s a lot to do with the intent of the plugin, which in this case is to show a theme, and it promotes both WP and themselves, but in a well-intentioned way.”
If you are using a plugin that changes the default login from wp-admin to the frontend of your website you’ll need to ftp in and delete one of the two plugins
