In reply to: Hosting over a network share permalinksJust a quick follow up that i noticed. I don’t even get 404 pages for things that are not there. It seems that every URL that does not correspond to a real file or ends in something like ?p=1324 just gets thrown out by the server as a 403 forbidden.

In reply to: Get rid of annoying “CAT|” in front of category listingsThanks so much! This did the trick. Before posting this I did a ‘grep -r CAT *.php’ in my /var/www/ folder to check for this kind of thing and missed it somehow.

I’m not aware of a plugin that does this nor am I afraid of modifying core wordpress files.
