Update:

Have now managed to insert some code which is displaying the thumbnails, just battling with the layout now. Thanks

Hi Barry,

Thanks for your help. I have completed a template override. Are you able to advise me on what code to insert? I notice the widget does not have an option to show/hide images on the main appearance editor? Do you perhaps know of any examples the code has been used?

Thanks alchymyth,

Closed the div but this did not resolve the issue. The other validation errors do not appear to be related.

I will contact the theme’s developer but any other help would be greatly appreciated.
