Posting under all the catagories fixed it. Thanks.
OK, sorry.
I show catagories in the admin area but the error message shows in place of them on the blog.
If you’re asking me, I obviously haven’t fixed since I still get the error
In a new install I get a similar message:

No categories
I’ve not touched this file. I tried downloading it then uploading as ACSII but still get the message.
