So I bought two books, but not sure they’ll help either.
Anyway does v. 2.6.2 have a Gallery function? For many reasons, I will not upgrade to newer versions of WordPress. I would love to post Galleries rather than link to ones I’ve established elsewhere on the Web. But all I get is Media Library and I don’t see any way to create a Gallery on a post from the Media Library. I uploaded 3 images to my most recent post but don’t see any Gallery tab.

1. Cannot get visual editor
2. Teeny little editing window cramped amid window after window of tools. How do I get nice big editing space as I had in 2.6?

In reply to: Publishing editor doesn’t work in 2.7As I said in another string, my solution was having my webhost restore v.2.6.2 No way I’ll struggle with 2.7 I can’t believe WP calls it an upgrade. They ruined a good thing.

In reply to: WordPress 2.7 Visual Editor has Vanished on some Posts2.7 had me, a grown woman, in tears. My solution was to call my webhost and, thank God, he was able to retrieve 2.6.2 for me. The problems with 2.7: couldn’t get Dashboard off editing screen, plus all the little boxes they tell you to collapse & move — much easier said than done. The Dashboard won’t go away and the other boxes keep popping back to their original positions and it’s a nuisance beyond endurance.
Even when I finally cleared a space to actually see the draft I wanted to edit, none of the buttons worked, so I had nothing plus nobody to give any help.
Until it works better, I want no part of 2.7
