It was the Post Font Resizer plug in that seemed to be the cause of it all. Everybody with IE seemed to have the problem although I didn’t get to know which versions they were using.
Phew! Recovered my original news blog but basic complete non understanding of how WP pages work still remains.
It would be a little unfair to single out Explorer here as of two regular forums I visit one is fully visible in Firefox but not in Opera whilst the other is, yes you’ve guessed it, fully visible in Opera but not Firefox. Both work in IE.
Just got a lot worse. I have now lost my original blog!!!
