Thanks for your responses MacManX. We tried resetting the plug-ins, but it didn’t bring in the new ones.

It turns out, WordPress didn’t recognize the new plug-ins because they had one extra folder wrapped around the contents, which placed the actual plug-in one depth further down the line.

So the stats plug-in was set up like this –
stats.1.7.2/stats/content
We had to remove the outer folder so WordPress would recognize the plug-in.
