In reply to: Problem after updateI have solved the issue. Downloaded the latest version of wordpress. I then over wrote all of the downloaded files and folders except wp_content on my site, using FTP.
The site now works and all the content is intact

I do have the content elsewhere, so at a push I could re-enter the text. Its the media that would be a big job, as there are a lot of documents.Forum: Fixing WordPress

I don’t know how to check the database
I do have two themes installed
I have a backup of the site, using updraftplus. however it is backed up on the site, so I guess I would need to copy that to my local machine
