We discovered that it seems to have been a recent update for AutoOptimize plug-in that was causing the issue, after deactivating this plug-in the pin-it button started functioning normally again!

In reply to: [JP Sharing] Turn of Stats Numbers from Sharing IconsHi Anas,
Perfect, this was easy and turned off the little numbers. Lovely! I hope future versions will allow users to have more flexibility in deciding how they want their stats and icons displayed, but now I know how to turn them off like in the prior version.
Thanks so much for your help!
Jessica

In reply to: [JP Sharing] Turn of Stats Numbers from Sharing IconsSure, if you want to tell me how to disable it by editing the code that would be great.
Thanks!

In reply to: [JP Sharing] Turn of Stats Numbers from Sharing IconsHi Anas,
I think you must have just looked at the first post that I just posted a few minutes ago, check again as all of them have stats numbers (on the Facebook and Twitter icons anyway, as they don’t seem to show for the other services). I would like to remove these if possible as I track them elsewhere and preferred earlier version of the plugin that did not show them as I would prefer a cleaner look.
Thanks!

In reply to: Help with lots of blank entries below posts and above footerIt seems that the problem has been identified (the article nesting) but could someone point me to where I can check on this and fix this issue? I have been searching all week without being able to fix the issue of all the blank entries on my home page. Thanks so much!

In reply to: Help with lots of blank entries below posts and above footerHi Evan,
Thanks so much for identifying the problem! I have been searching around my coding to try to find this on my own and I can’t seem to find these <article> codes anywhere. What files should I be checking? Sorry if this is obvious, but I am pretty new to blogging.
Thanks!
JessicaHi Jeremy,
Thanks for your reply. No, I didn’t do anything with them but they seem to be fixed now, perhaps it was just a temporary glitch as it was showing across browsers yesterday.
Thanks for the info about the FB sharing button. I will try that out.
Thanks again!

In reply to: Help with lots of blank entries below posts and above footerDoes anyone else have any thoughts about how I can remove these blank spaces? The issue does not appear to be plug-in related and it only appears to be a problem on the front/home page not on any of the other pages. It does not appear in an old version of IE, but does in a new version, as well as my versions of Chrome and Firefox.

In reply to: Help with lots of blank entries below posts and above footerHi Josh,
Thanks for your reply. I had tried to deactivate all the social media sharing plugin before with no luck, and I just tried deactivating all the plugins I have on the site and still no luck. It does not appear to be related to any of the plug-ins.
Other thoughts?

In reply to: Help Getting Date and Author Information to Display on Post ExcerptsWow, thanks that code was very helpful. So now the author and date information is displaying but it is also displaying a bunch of other stuff that I would like to remove, but have not been able to figure out how to do this.
For instance on the first posted article, I would like to remove all of the following from showing (text, tags, categories): “This entry was posted in Travel Advice, United States and tagged Calistoga, Napa, Napa besides wine, Napa Valley, Napa Valley without wine, Napa without wine, non-drinker, Oxbow Market, travel, wine country, Yountville”
Instead I just want it to display

Thanks in advance!
Forgot to add that the changes above were to the child theme, not to the primary content.php theme.

In reply to: [Theme: TwentyTwelve] Problems with page widthHi Kurt,
Thank you so much for your response. So I removed that last line from the child theme CSS as recommended. Is the content still spilling out when you view the page? Here is my revised CSS code:
This makes the website look perfect in my version of Internet Explorer but still text is against the edges in my Chrome browser with no background showing. Also while the website shows up perfectly on the screen on my home computer’s version of IE, the page shows up much wider and requires a scroll bar at the bottom to read all the content across the page on my work computer’s version of IE. Is there a way to make it appear more uniform across browsers?
Thanks so much!

In reply to: Can't access WP-admin page / Can't log into websiteThanks Krishna, this worked! I have a feeling it was my picture gallery plug-in that was causing the problem. Thanks so much!!
